Awards
Shambhala's architect is Chris Vandyke of Chris Vandyke Designs. Winner of 4 National and 14 State designs, Chris Vandyke Designs specialises in open plan buildings that are drawn from Tropical, Asian and Mediterranean influences and formed to suit a distinctively Australian style.
He is passionate about creating low impact buildings with a small environmental footprint, utilising passive solar design, shading and environmentally sustainable materials and focusing on the use of water features and indoor/outdoor living.
Built in 2004 by Keith Tesch (Mossman) Shambhala has received the following design accolades:
